To ensure the highest level of care possible, we provide a higher staff-to-resident ratio than normally found in assisted living and memory care.
Carol Allen stepped into the role of Director at Astoria Senior Living in 2017 after working in partnership with Astoria for more than six years as the director of the largest home care organization in the Central Valley Region. A Licensed Vocational Nurse, Carol brings a high level of experience, passion and understanding to her role and is eager to help residents and their families enjoy the unique lifestyle Astoria offers.
Day-to-day management and oversight, community outreach, tours and being a resource for families are all part of Carol’s role as Director. But, it’s the opportunity to help residents enjoy meaningful and fulfilling lives that excites her most about being part of the Astoria team.
Carol says providing the highest level of service to residents and their families primarily depends on choosing and managing the very best employees. “My goal is to inspire staff by modeling the principles of servant leadership. I believe in developing good working partnerships, encouraging growth and development, and establishing high standards of integrity and dignity in the workplace.”
